Hello! My name is Daniela Ramirez-Quintana

"I want to help empower each individual I connect with to live their most authentic life, live their truth, be who they want to be and overcome the trauma and adversities they have faced.”

About.

Hello my name is Daniela (Dani) and I use She/Her/Ella pronouns. I am currently a graduate student at Antioch university pursuing my Master’s in Mental Health counseling. I pursued the field of counseling because healing from past or present trauma is not an easy journey to go through but certainly a journey that is possible with the right support. I want to be apart of that support. I understand that each person has their own individualized experience that is made even more complex by how we identify and show up in this world. I approach the therapeutic space from an authentic, compassionate, and culturally sensitive stance. I view therapy as a way to become more authentically ourselves and a way to gain insight into who we want to become while overcoming the challenges of daily life.

As I continue to pursue my journey in becoming a licensed clinician, a few frameworks and therapeutic approaches I lean on when trying to understand the human experience and navigate the healing process are Person-Centered, Trauma-Focused, Polyvagal, Attachment-based and Family Systems.

In addition to pursuing my Master’s, I work for a Personal Injury law firm where I get to use my therapeutic skills on a daily basis when helping clients who have been injured. I am a Student Leader for the Counselors of Color at Antioch University where I get to connect with other soon-to-be clinicians of color. I also speak Spanish fluently and intend to use it throughout my journey in becoming a licensed clinician. Outside of work and school, I love investing time in arts and crafts and spend time with my family, my significant other, and my cat who is an orange tabby named Mango.

I look forward to working with you!
